Therapy Grant Providers
The Blossom Mental Health Fund is committed to making psychotherapy as accessible as possible for Asian Canadians. Through our therapy grants program, we aim to provide funding to Asian Canadians facing financial barriers to therapy.
In order to participate as a provider in our therapy grants program you must be:

Able to provide culturally-competent individual (not couples, families, etc.) clinical services to adults ages 18+
Willing to provide eight sessions per client at the rate of $125/session
*our pilot program is currently available to Ontario providers and recipients only. We hope to expand across Canada in the near future.
NOTE: Our grants program is currently on pause. Please check back for updates.

FAQs
What is the process to set up client’s consultations and appointments?
Providers approved for the program will be listed in a password-protected online hub for applicants. If an applicant selects you to be their provider, they will reach out directly to set up an initial appointment.
From there, providers and recipients are responsible for scheduling their sessions. Charges for late cancellations and no shows will be deducted from the recipients’ 8 sessions, so please ensure to remind the client of this.
How do I get paid for the sessions that I provided for the client?
Following each session, you may invoice the BMHF directly for your payout.
Is there a limit to the amount of clients I can see through the program?
No.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can be virtual or in-person. BMHF does not provide HIPPA-compliant software or a physical therapy space for providers.
How long is each session?
One session through our program = 50 minutes. You may, however, hold longer sessions at your discretion.
